Hard capsules are one of the most versatile supplement formats: they accept powders, controlled-release pellets, and even liquid fills; they dose flexibly across a full size range; and they ship and store well in every climate. For vitamins, minerals, probiotics, enzymes and botanical extracts, capsules are usually the fastest route from formula to finished product.
As a capsule contract manufacturer, Zhongke Zhigu produces hard capsules in sizes #00 through #4 at up to roughly 15 million capsules per day, under NSF GMP (ANSI 455-2), FDA registration, BRCGS and ISO 22000. Both standard gelatin and vegetarian HPMC shells are available, in single- and two-tone custom colours that support brand differentiation across a product range.
Fill flexibility is where capsules earn their keep. We fill single actives and complex blends, layer controlled-release pellets, and combine ingredient systems that would be unstable if blended loose. Heat-sensitive actives such as probiotics and enzymes benefit from capsule filling's low-heat process — one reason capsule formats dominate the probiotic category.
Because our factory also runs softgel, gummy, tablet, liquid and powder lines, brands can extend a capsule hero product into new formats without re-qualifying a supplier — and our in-house botanical extraction workshop can take herbal ingredients from raw plant to standardised extract to finished capsule inside one traceable supply chain.
